

If you cannot log in to the recorder, request that a practice folder be created. Panopto recordings are stored in folders, and you must have a Creator role in at least one folder to log in to the recorder. You may request installation of the recorder on a BJU-owned computer by submitting a Service Desk ticket, or for laptops, you may stop by Technology Resources in AL 207. PANOPTO APP FOR MAC UPDATE
If you are using a BJU-owned computer, you will need assistance to update the recorder. If you have an older version installed, a notification to that effect will pop up, and the recorder will not open. To see if your recorder is a current version, try logging in. Before you can create a recording using Panopto, you must verify that a current version of the Panopto recorder is installed on the computer you plan to use. You can also upload certain types of existing videos to be streamed through Panopto. You can choose to make a basic recording using a microphone and screen capture, or you can add a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation, webcam video, and even activity from a second monitor or camera. With this application, you can capture synchronized input from your computer. Panopto is a lecture capture and video hosting system which is available campus-wide.
